Alexandria climbed the last few stairs to the Owlery. She had a letter in her hand for her younger sister, Lilliana. Lexi found an owl to send the letter home and attached the letter to its leg.
Lexi released the owl and rested on to rail of the owlery tower. She sighed as a cool breeze blew, hinting that Autumn was right around the corner. "Hmm..." She turned her gaze toward the sky, thinking to herself.
She felt as if someone was behind her. She looked over her shoulder and saw that there was no one. She shook her head and leaned back against the wall. "I'm almost out of here...I cannot believe it."
True, she was only a 6th year, but the time here at Hogwarts seemed to rush for her. She closed her blue eyes and sighed deeply, slipping into a day dream.

Samuel had been meaning to post an owl message to his mom for over a week and decided he would no longer put it off. He missed his mom and tried to write to her as much as he could get some free time. She had been lonely ever since his dad died and well she loved receiving owls from her son. He walked up the long stairs to the top above Hogwarts till he reached 'The Owlery'. As he just got to 'The Olwery' he heard a girl say
"I'm almost out of here....I cannot believe it.".
He walked up to the girl he seen around here before he knew he'd seen her before but hadn't gotten a chance to introduce himself yet.
"It's a great day today, nice weather we been having." "I'm Samuel Zashterly I am the new Head Minster of the Ministry of Magic." "I don't believe I've had the honor of meeting you yet, whats your name?" "I know I've seen you around Hogwarts, your what a sixth year student I believe your in house Gryffindor?" He said and he gave her a warm smile and reached out his hand to shake hers. "I came up here to post a letter to my mom, I been putting it off to long." He thought she seemed like a nice student and wondered how she had been liking it at Hogwarts so far.

Alexandria gasped as her eyes flew open. "Ohmigosh!" She looked at him, laying a hand of her own on her own heaving bosom. She then caught her breath and smiled akwardly and shook his hand. "Yes, I am a sixth year Gryffindor. My name is Alexandria Hamilton, Minister Zashterly."
She found it quite odd that he was talking to her. It was known that the Zashterly's rarely talked to anyone out of the Slytherin's hosue. But then again, she was part of one of the few pureblood families left.
She turned towards him and looked at him. "Is there something I can help you with?" She tilted her head to the side, waiting for some kind of answer. [/center]

He looked at Alexandria as she placed her hand on her heaving bosom as she caught her breath. She reminds me of my wife when she was that age, the things girls do when they are full of hormones and young as Alexandria is, he thought to himself. He loved his wife very much and he thought how he intended to buy her some candy later today. As he shook her hand he looked into her eyes and spoke to her in a nice calm voice.
"No I just came up here to owl a letter to my dear old mother." "I saw you standing up here and thought I would introduce myself, my daughter tells me your part of one of the last pure blood families around." "You know you remind me of my wife when she was your age so young and full of eagerness with a dreamy look in her eye." He said with a chuckle in his voice, his hands moving around as he spoke to her to emphasize certain points. "Please just call me Samuel, your of pure blood no need to use titles with me." He took a box out of his pocket, it was a box of 'Bertie Botts Every Flavour Beans'. He took one out and put it in his mouth to taste it. "Yuck I got one that tastes like dirt this time." He said as his face wrinkled and showed a sign of disgust. He reached out his hand with the box of 'Bertie Botts Every Flavour Beans' in it and offered her one. "Would you like a bean, pardon me for eating in front of you but they are my favorite candy in the whole wide world and like to keep a box with me at all times. "They are so delicious but as you can see sometimes you get nasty tasting ones." He said as he let out soft chuckle then gave her a warm hearted grin. Then he took on a fatherly like stance and gave her a look of respect. "So how has school been for you Alexandria are you enjoying it here at Hogwarts?" As he said this he went and attached his letter to his mom to an owls leg. Then he returned his gaze looking in her eyes and politely waited for her to respond to his questions.

[[Ahaha! That made me think of Dumbledor...]]
She took a bean and thanked him, calling him Samuel. "Oh...cherry, yum!" She smiled as she swallowed the bean.
"Hogwarts is great! I get along with almost everyone here. Even this one boy, but he's of no importance to you." She soon regretted saying anything. Would he agree with her for liking his son? They were of rival houses.
She looked up at him and giggled nervously.

He listened and nodded when appropriate to the smart young girl as she answered his questions. Then he heard her mention some boy though of no importantance to him.
"Well really, thats great to making budding friendships. "I remember my greatest friend throughout my years at Hogwarts was a Hufflepuff named Henry Abbot." "If it wasn't for him I wouldn't of met my loving wife as I married his sister Sarah."
He said with a nice kind smile as glance at the setting sun watching the owl he had posted the message with fly off.
(sorry for the late reply I've had a lot going on in real life lately and my muse has been having trouble of late, but I"m back specially with term starting finnally here. yay !))

[[Oh I completely understand, and it's okay. My muse has been down lately too. Lol]]
Alexandria smiled. "You met Mrs. Zastherly here? That's so sweet." She turned her gaze to the setting sun, thinking of Richard.
Her dear Richard. She never felt like this with any another person, but would Samuel agree to it? Hufflepuff's and Slytherin's were far more closer than Slytherin's and Gryffindor's.
Her gaze returned to Samuel as the thought kept running through her mind.

Samuel listened as she asked him if he really met his wife here and he remembered all the great times he and his wife had at Hogwarts.
"Yes it was a grand time I mean she was very charming and beautiful and as she was pure-blood as well." He said with a grin as he looked as if he was remembering a memory from a long time ago.
"You know its really important that you have pure-blood relationships only if possible I mean sure half-bloods are ok but its best to keep the blood pure you know." "I really don't care to much about the House someone is in besides thats all fated by the Sorting Hat." "I believe more in the person's character, background and personality then their house they were sorted in." He said in a manner of this is what I believe and I think you would do well to listen and heed my advice.

Alexandria nodded to all he told her. "I am dating a pureblood. I don't believe in the whole stick to pureblood thing, but it just happened that way." She shrugged it off.
"I believe in a person's personality is most important...oh! And their morals!"

"I sense you wish to tell me something young lady, perhaps you would feel better if you just came out and said it." He said in a very reassuring manner he wasn't reading her mind he just could tell from his years of experience that she was trying to find a way to tell him something. "You know sometimes we can tend to be scared to much about what others may think of us." "Nothing you say will make me think less of you, for we all can make mistakes or choose the wrong path to take when your just a child still and growing up." "It's the decisions and choices you make when you realize you made a mistake or did something wrong that define a person." "I try not to judge people for their mistakes as long as they learn from them the first time." He said with a nod and a look in his eyes reinforced what he had said.

Alexandria listened to what he had to say. She bit her lower lip as she lowered her gaze. "Well...there is something I wish to tell you...but I don't know if now is the right time..."
She had turned her whole body, her back now to him. She did not mean to seem to be so impolite, but she just didn't know if now was the right time to tell him.
