Carsyn walked up towards the high tower, her school bag hung over her shoulder. Even though she wasn't a student, she still carted around a messenger bag filled with all of the information she would need for each of her classes. Today, she was going to attempt to get some work done in lesson planning, but Merlin knows things like that never work out quite the way you want them to. Carsyn yawned softly as she finished her walk up the many stairs to the top of the tower, sitting back against one of the stone pillars that lined the circular build of it as she pulled her quill, ink, and parchment from her bag. She also pulled A History of Magic from her bag as well as Hogwarts a History, in case she needed to look up information.
The books sat next to her untidly as she worked away, her hand growing weary and tired with a small hand cramp as she worked, writing diligently.
((Sorry its so unbelievably short, but I ran out of muse about halfway through.. Lol

Ryder sighed, what was this guy going to do. Not only was he the Potions Professor for hogwarts, he was the head of his household. The only boy to his families name, it was still stressful, even though he had been it since he had graduated from Hogwarts. Trying to find some place other than in the dungeon to think, to come above from that place. He liked it far better than, being above everything it was much cooler in the dungoens that it was in the Towers.
[rambles]
As he walked the castle unsure of where he would be walking to, it was wherever his feet where taking him. They had taken him up to the stairs and up and up and finally he met himself at the High Tower a place he would normally go to think when in school. But he guessed since being back his mind wanted to go to the place he once thought a lot at. As he walked more so into the tower he saw Caryn who was already sitting there doing something with her history books as she normal was. "Hello," he smiled.
[blah its crappppp]
[is she still a student, cause thats what it said in the first line of your post]

((Sorry, I edited it. It wasn't supposed to say wasn't instead of was))
Carsyn's eyes scanned the grounds readily, wondering if she might spot a student anywhere to use a lumos maxima spell on in order to frighten. Though to no such luck. It wasn't long after though that she was being startled back into reality by an old schoolmate of hers, Ryder Kingsley. He had always been a year ahead of her, but she still knew him. They weren't in the same house, that she was aware of, but at least she knew of him. "Hey, Ryder!" Carsyn's smile was wide as she looked up to him, patting the spot next to her, opposite the books she had ready to work, as she began putting her things away. She didn't want to be distracted.
"How have things been with your family?" Carsyn knew it was probably a touchy subject, but before he had graduated, when she was still a sixth year, they had talked over it roughly. They hadn't shared much information about it, but at least he had told her of the slight predicament he was in. "I've missed you." She smiled.
