First Name: Sarah
Middle Name: Abbot
Last Name: Zashterly
Heritage: Pure Blood
Nationality: England
Spoken Languages: German, English
Place of Birth: Stuggart, Germany
Age/Date of Birth: 6 March | 35 years old
House: Slytherin
Dressing Style:
Sarah's main choice of clothing is robes. Normally (and usually during school) she will wear dark green robes with a golden thread trim. She owns other dark colors of robes: blacks, greys, dark blues. There are a few fabrics that she can choose from in her collection, ranging from thinner fabrics to thicker fabrics like wool. She loves shoes, and has quite a few pairs of black heels, pumps, and boots, and a few pairs in other dark colors. She doesn't usually venture much into the lighter side of the spectrum. If she isn't wearing robes, she'll wear button-up cotton blouses and knee-length pencil skirts, but not many situations present themselves where this is appropriate.
Parents:
Sedric Abbot really old, Slytherin
Rachel Abbot : really old, Slytherin
Siblings: Alisha Abbot - Deceased
Father in Law:Charles Zashterly Oct 31|1945 - 2002, Slytherin

Brother In Law: Henry Abbot - Deceased
Niece: Christina Abbot 11
Kids:
Richard Abbot Zashterly 14
Jessica Abbot Zashterly 11
Jeffery Abbot Zashterly 9
General Character Traits:
Sarah is a very competitive being. She was never very good at accepting the fact that she could not always be the best. She tries to one-up the other professors with cooler lessons, one-up other healers by being able to heal something that they can't, one-up students by taking chips away (which she hasn't yet become too accustomed to). She enjoys knowing more than other people, though she knows she's not more intelligent than everyone, a problem that she is trying to remedy. She likes to have the last laugh.
Sarah can be very vindictive and cruel. If she doesn't like someone, she usually puts something in their favorite morning drink that will give them the runs for days. Sometimes her vindictiveness can go a little too far. She usually puts up the façade of being a nice, caring person whenever she first meets someone, but it usually disappears within a few months of knowing them.
She can hold grudges like nobody's business. She remembers people and little things from her own school days, and chances are that whenever a child of one of them comes through her class, she won't forget. Unfortunately, most of those who she attended school with don't yet have children that are of school age. And even though she doesn't much like children, she'll most likely wait until they are old enough to handle defending themselves properly before trying anything at all.
Likes:
Muffins: She learned how to back muffins from her mother, and constantly baked them whenever she had the convenience of a kitchen. Her muffin-baking techniques have slowly improved throughout the years, and it's one of her favorite pastries to keep on hand.
Winning games: Be it bingo, exploding snap, burping contests, or drinking contests, Sarah wants to win. She'll go to great lengths to fix a game if she needs to in order to win.
Learning in general: Sarah thrives on learning new things. She learns best through experimentation, so she can often be found huddled over a cauldron, brewing up poison hybrids, antidotes, alcohol, or other potions that need practicing.
Dragons: Some may view them as flying balls of death, but to Sarah, dragons are the epitome of awesome. Plus, they have great uses for protection.
Dislikes:
Thin-bottomed cauldrons: Sure, they take less time to reach a proper heat, but Sarah has less luck with keeping these types of cauldrons intact.
Improper grammar: Sarah will correct someone's grammar if they are incorrect. She doesn't take into account that English might be someone's first, second, third, or eighteenth language. Bad grammar won't be tolerated by her.
Whistling: It's very bothersome, and Sarah believes the superstition that whistling indoors invites bad luck.
Strengths:
Sarah is good at planning ahead for various things. When she needs to have something carefully planned out, she'll take time to sit and focus on the situation at hand. Things usually work in her favor after she has spent time planning her course of action. She is a very trusting person once she gets to know someone. She is good at keeping secrets form others or for others. Though she is usually very rude, she can be very kind when she wants something and will use flattery to get what she wants. There's not much that she wouldn't do in order to further her success. She can be very studious when there is an impending challenge, and will try to learn all the tricks and keys to success about her opponent, be it an exam or a challenger of some sort.
Weaknesses:
At times she can be a little too trusting and will assume that she can expect great things from everyone that she trusts. She can be naive at times. More often than not, she is very rude and doesn't say please or thank you or any of the other accepted words of politeness. If Sarah can get her point across by being blunt, than she will.

Samuel and Sarah Abbot's Courtship
Samuel’s marriage to Sarah Abbot was not the result of a whirlwind romance, but rather the culmination of several years of careful courtship. He had met Sarah Abbot through his friendship with her brother Henry Abbot. Simply put, Samuel and Sarah were a ‘good match’. He was of a pureblood, upper-middle class British family and she of a pureblood German family which matched the Zashterly's well in wealth (being slightly less well-off than the Zashterly's) and status. Both were Slytherins at Hogwarts and while they paid little attention to each other while at school (for the two were separated in age by four years), Samuel made an effort to contact Sarah after he had graduated, writing to her regularly. After five years of exchanging letters, Sarah graduated and the two were married about a year later.
Samuel And Sarah's Early Married Life
Charles and Gweneth had been saving money for a graduation gift for all of their children. The gift they gave Samuel was enough to find a shabby flat in Pimlico for him and Sarah and for food enough to last until he found his first job.
After taking the Knight Bus to London and setting up his apartment, Samuel applied for a job with the Improper Use of Magic Office at the Ministry of Magic. He was hired and began training for a job investigating violations of the Decree for the Reasonable Restriction of Underage Sorcery and the International Confederation of Wizards’ Statute of Secrecy.
Samuel settled into a steady routine for work, and found that he enjoyed the work and environment very much. He worked hard and dedicated himself to performing his duties well. He was social at work--never to the point of distraction, but he did enjoy conversing with fellow Ministry officials. He relished being 'in the know' and having social contacts. It was all so different from school and family life, and he enjoyed the experience.
Samuel's New Job And Bright Future
Then his luck turned for the better and in a whirlwind campaign he ran for the prime Job as Head Minster of Ministry of Magic and he got the job. Now that he and his wife Sarah were well off they were able to settle comfortably into a new home of a reasonable size and it wasn’t long before they were expecting their firstborn. Richard was a welcome addition to the small family and was educated from an early age in the ideals that the Zashterly family upheld, especially those of Pure Blood supremacy. Three years later, Sarah gave birth to the Zashterly’s second child; a girl, Jessica . Two years later was born their last child a boy which they named Jeffery.
Charles Zashterly Dies
When Jessica was four, the Zashterly family was shaken by the accidental death of Jessica’s grandfather, Charles Zashterly. In a momentary lapse of concentration, Charles managed to fill his tea cup with a fast-acting poison rather than tea and died before he could get to an antidote. As in accordance with Charles’ wishes, the house passed into possession of Samuel, rather than his older brother.
Jessica's, Richard's And Jeffery's Early Years
Jessica's upbringing, much like her brother’s, was one based on strict tradition. Jessica was brought up to understand her station in the world; who she was and where she belonged. Unlike her brother, Jessica would never pass on the family name, but she was still expected to uphold their reputation. Ideals of Pure Blood supremacy and themes of wealth and status were as much a part of her early education as reading or arithmetic. By the time Jessica could talk, she could already distinguish her superiors from her equals and, most importantly, those that were below her.
When Jessica was two, the Zashterly's were joined by another child, their youngest, Jeffery. For the first couple of years after Jeffery’s birth, Jessica preferred to play with her older brother Richard or by herself. Once Jeffery had gotten past what Jessica referred to as the ‘annoying baby stage’, the two became a lot closer than Richard and Jessica had ever been, probably partly due to their closeness in age.
The Zashterly Children led a largely secluded life, mainly confined to the house and garden. There was little opportunity to mix with other children, as the Zashterly's had firm ideas about who were worthy playmates, and so aside from the occasional play date with children from an appropriate family, the Zashterly were kept mainly to themselves. Jessica and Jeff kept themselves busy playing with the large collection of toys that the Zashterly house boasted; amongst Jessica’s favorites was an enchanted theatre which she and Jeff spent hours making up plays for and acting out to an obliging (although possibly grudgingly so) Richard.
The Zashterly children were educated mainly by their mother, with lessons from a tutor twice weekly. Jessica was a good student although she often lacked the patience and concentration to see projects through till the end and lost her initial enthusiasm and zeal. When she did stick things through, the results were good, Jessica was quick to learn and rarely struggled with subjects.
Jessica was eight when Richard left for Hogwarts and although his absence was peculiar to begin with, she soon grew used to it; after all, she had always been closer to Jeff than Richard anyway. Jessica had also always been quite adept at making her own entertainment. She was quite happy tucked away somewhere by herself with her nose in a book, a sketchbook in hand, or playing piano to herself. Although Jessica got on well with the other children that their family knew, Jessica was always content to be by herself and never needed anyone else around her.
