Averie looked at his hands over hers and sighed heavily. “Well….in all honesty I‘m not looking forward to getting fat….” She muttered sadly as she rubbed her little baby lump. And Honestly who could see Averie, skinny Averie, carrying three babies in her stomach? Hell she couldn‘t. Her family was the thing she was worried about most right now. They‘d kill her at first with the whole ‘you‘re irresponsible‘ lecture, but once that died down they‘d help out a lot. Hopefully.
“…..We‘ll have to work hard….I‘ll have to talk to Jer about…a better job. I doubt Charms will pay enough.” Ave said as she looked up at the ceiling. “But you love History of Magic….” She said softly. Of course she knew what that class meant to her husband, and she really couldn‘t see him doing anything else willingly. Maybe if she tied him up or something, but totally not willingly, so him suggesting a new job was rather bold.
“Oh really now?” She asked, turning to look at him, one eyebrow arched. “Show me.

Jorden laughed a little at her woes of being fat. "I'll work out with you everyday when the little guys pop out. Plus, running after three, we are both sure to lose weight easy. And there are spells, but you probably don't want to cheat it." Jor couldn't help but cock an eyebrow at her, knowing that Averie would definitely cheat the system and use a spell if it really came down to it. Of course, he didn't promote the idea, but she had to know it was out there, if she didn't already. "Ave, stop worrying. Please." Jorden begged, wanting her to forgot the idea that she would have to get a better job. There was no way. Jorden would do everything in his power to make his inheritance last as long as possible, so they had no worries, but as it dwindled, their savings for their three boys would grow larger, because they would be working for all of their lives. Maybe, just maybe, they would get to be so financially stable that Averie could just be a stay at home mom while Jorden worked. Old fashioned, but that was the way he liked it. "Alright, come on." He lifted her up with him, taking her hand and pulling her into one of the two offices, his own. He dug through the bottom drawer and pulled out a sketch. He showed it to her, pointing out a few of the components. "And these initials will be the initials of the middle child. For some reason the middle child was just the one that drew me into this room." Jorden nodded, waving his wand so a small hologram picture of the nursery came into view.

Averie arched her eyebrows at him. Did he really think she’d want to lose the weight on her own when she could use magic to melt it away? He must be on something then. She smiled sweetly at him and stood up. “Yeaaah….. Running after three little kids is going to be….Fun.” She said, wrapping her arms around herself as she walked over to the couch and perched on the edge of a cushion.
“But Jorden. If you think about it. Three kids, plus the cost of diapers, the cost of food, clothes, books, toys. I think I might need to get another job too.” She said, ticking the items off on her fingers as she went. Averie, being the modern woman that she was, loved working. She loved being around other people who she didn‘t see all the time, which for some reason was why she enjoyed the desert trip. Though she‘d never do it again. “ I mean I can work, until the babies come that is.” She said with a small shrug. No way in hell was Jorden not going to let her help. These babies were coming out of her and not him after all.
Ave followed him into his office and crossed her arms over her chest. “Awwww, that‘s lovely I like the colors.” She said as she examined the hologram. “Hopefully the little bugger won‘t get out of that crib. Did I ever tell you the story of when I was a baby and I got out of the crib and my mum couldn‘t find me? She called the cops and everything. So funny.” She muttered with a laugh.

Jorden continued to shake his head, annoyed that she was still so worried about how much money they were going to need versus how much they lack. "I have an inheritance, if you didn't know." Jorden was pretty sure he'd told her right before her trip, but then again it could have slipped his mind through her tears and the goodbyes and yea. Basically, yea. Jorden sighed softly as he tried to put it all from his mind. He just wanted her to be happy that she was pregnant and he wanted her to have that beautiful pregnant glow that every other pregnant woman he knew had. But it wouldn't happen if she continued to worry. "We will be fine. Don't you worry your pretty little head."
"I've had other ideas for nurseries too, but this one was my favorite. I'll show you the other two when I complete them." Jorden smiled as he waved his wand again and the hologram disappeared. "No, you never told me that story, but that is kind of funny. I don't think he'll get out of this one. In fact, I think they will all be absolutely stuck in the cribs we will have for them, especially the one with the round crib. That's my other favorite design. You have to wait to see." Jorden laughed.

“….It’s not like I don’t know that Jorden. I’m just planning ahead okay?” Averie said, irritation creeping into her voice. She bit her lip as images flowed past her in a timeline. The babies being born, diapers piling up, she and Jorden on the street, and finally, living with her parents. No way in Hell is that happening. Not if she could help it in anyway. She sighed heavily and shot him the ‘this isn‘t over‘ look. “Fine. I‘ll be all pretty and huge just for the normalcy of it all.” She muttered even when there was nothing natural about this.
“Oooh, didn‘t plan all the way ahead did you?” She teased, standing up straighter and rubbing her stomach again. “Well don‘t underestimate out future babies.” She said with a smirk. If any one of them was like her they‘d be able to get the hell out of any situation. “Well….I want a teddy bear.” She said, “um….not for me….for the babies…” She nodded with a sheepish grin.
