LEON!
Byron Leon had always been a brave, hard-working man; one of the many reasons he got along so well with his three best friends. When the idea of creating magical institute arose, Byron was all for it. Despite popular belief, it was Byron's idea to educate Durmstrang students about the Dark Arts. Upon creating his house, Byron knew that his students would be exactly like him: bold, loyal, true and noble.
(Think Gryffindor and Hufflepuff.)
OSTERMEIN!
Oscar Ostermein was always the most sensible of the four friends. His intelligence and kindness was always intriguing to the rest of them. But when he was asked his opinion of building their own school, Oscar certainly had his doubts. Who in their right minds would want to come to a school of theirs? But after giving it some thought, Ostermein found that students could learn from his wit, fairness and all around intelligence.
(Think Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff.)
ROTHSTEIN!
Heathcote Rothstein's chivalry and ambition was always appreciated by his friends. It was originally his idea to build Durmstrang Institute for Magical Learning, though he wouldn't go through with it unless he had his three best friends with him. He kept his friends going throughout the construction of Durmstrang. Students sorted into Heathcote's house have always had traits similar to his: resourcefulness, bravery and nerve.
(Think Slytherin and Gryffindor.)
SCHOLZ!
Alfred Scholz's wit and cunningness have always been noted. Though his friends loved him like a brother, they were sometimes skeptical over whether he was hiding something from them because of his ability to lie. Then again, they greatly appreciated the way he was able to get things done. Alfred's students are primarily crafty, intelligent and extremely ambitious.
