Charles Zashterly was a ghost he had died in a momentary lapse of concentration, as he managed to fill his tea cup with a fast-acting poison rather than tea and died before he could get to an antidote. He was now a ghost at 'Hogwarts' and he was forever tied to the school grounds. He was now flying about the 'Staircases' of Hogwarts looking for someone to scare or talk to even.
