Nighttime, The moonlight was soothing and rather bright. Students were marching from the courtyard and into the Castle for dinner. The auroma of food was indeed tempting, but one certain person was'nt hungry. Adrian stormed about the grounds, kicking rocks and mumbling something under his breath. His fists were jammed in his robe pockets and his blonde hair fell over his face. Blocking his vision, pushing his hair behind his ears. Adrian looked up and stared up at the sky for a rather long time as if he were in a trance. His brothers had graduated already as well as his older cousin Adam. He was'nt alone though, his younger cousin William was still at Hogwarts with him. Adrian wandered down to the lake after mumbling words under his breath and sighing. Sitting down on a small boulder like rock, he stared into the lake. His light green eyes glistened as he glared at the Lake. The moonlight was beautiful as its rays danced among the surface of the lake, gracing it with its extreme beauty.
Adrian drew his wand and twirled it between his fingers like an expert, his eyes closed temporarily. Adrian sighed heavily and got too his feet, removing his robes he began stripping down until the only thing left were his black and purple swimming trunks. Adrian carelessly tossed his clothes in a messy pile and dove into the inviting lake. He remained underwater for quite a while before surfacing, he purposely made his entrance into the lake rather loud. He shook his head, watching as water sprinkled from his shoulder-length, dirty blonde hair. Adrian floated on his back and closed his eyes. The quietness was relaxing and he enjoyed every minute of it until..............

For some reason, hunger hadn't been much of a factor for Alexandra lately. She was pretty sure it was the whole seventh year jitter, worried about her N.E.W.T.s and thinking about James Potter thing that was getting to her. Alright, so they really had started dating and it was absolutely surreal. She'd practically loved him from the moment she set her pretty little eyes on him back in their first year, when they were being sorted, INTO THE SAME HOUSE! FTW! Anyway, so back to Alexandra and her hunger issue. Yea, never hungry. Of course, at every breakfast and lunch she had forced herself to eat, to sit with James. But he had some class thing he said he was doing tonight, so he wouldn't be at dinner. So, Alexandra had decided to skip herself, probably scaring her sister, professor, and Head of House, Harmony, who would be sitting at the high table.
Alexandra's footsteps weren't quick at all as she made her way down in the direction of the lake. She spotted someone swimming off in the distance, and was already getting to the point of being happy that she wouldn't have to be alone while she was skipping dinner. At least someone else had decided to ignore hunger. A small smile slid onto her thin lips as her purple chucks moved her swiftly down the grounds and to the lake. She sat cross legged on the dock, looking at the boy who was swimming. She wasn't checking him out or anything, no, cause she had her beautiful James to look at. She was just wondering when he planned to stop swimming and come over for a chat. Alexandra, being her usual outgoing self, was ready to talk to anyone. She was on a mission this year too.
Meet anyone and everyone at Hogwarts that she can. She's gonna be the most popular professor at Hogwarts next year! Forreals!

There he was in his own world, swimming and enjoying himself like a kid inside a candy store. But that was soon interrupted, a brush against his ankle and a tug on his foot. Adrian's eyes shot open as he stared into the depths of the water. " 'hat the hell was tha'?" He shouted out, sounding a bit like a female. Adrian swam as quick as he could towards the shore. Leaping out of the water, he found himself laying in front of a pair of purple chucks. Slowly raising himself to his knees, he looked up at a girl and waved his hand real slow, adding a slight chuckle to the movement. "Erm 'ello, 'orry yeh had teh see me act like tha'". Adrian said, rubbing the back of his head and chuckling sheepishly. It was a beautiful night out though, the moonlight had gave the forest sort of an eerie horror movie look. Adrian pulled himself up to full height and dusted his chest and stomach free of dirt and loose grass.

Alexandra watched the boy as he swam, finally reverting her attention away from him and over towards the forest, which was always quite creepy in the moonlight. She smiled, remembering the last time she had entered the forest. She wiped the dirty thoughts from her mind almost immediately, looking back to the younger boy, who really didn't look that much younger than her. She watched as he freaked out, scrambled up the shore, and then landed right in front of her purple chucks. She gave him a wide smile, her eyes scanned his almost frightened looking face for a moment and then he realized she was just a female and she couldn't help but chuckle a little bit. "It's alright."
"Nice night, eh?" She asked, looking back over to the lake, which was shimmering beautifully in the moonlight. "I'm Alexandra, by the way. Alexandra Samuels. Seventh year Gryffindor. I'm not sure we've met before, but it's nice to met you.. errrr?" She kind of waited for his name, since it was unknown to her. Her pretty little eyes scanned the grounds, the forest, the lake, realizing it was probably getting close to the end of dinner, when they would call curfew and everyone would go back to their dorms. She wasn't too worried about it though, a curfew was just a silly little time limit on fun to her.

The Girl had perhaps been watching him swim for quite some time. Adrian pulled himself together and stared at her for a while, no he had'nt seen her around the Castle before. He highly doubted they were in the same house, and she looked to be older than him.Possibly by a year or so. " 'Eah, very nice". He said, his Irish accent heavy as he spoke. Looking around, he too had scanned the surface of the lake, as if he were contemplating on diving back in. But what was that thing that had brushed against his ankle? Adrian shrugged, he now had goosebumps that erupted on his skin as a night's breeze gently swept through the grounds. Alexandra Samuels was her name, and she was a Seventh Year Gryffindor. Adrian nodded and outstretched his hand. " 'Ice teh meet yeh, Alexandra. I'm Adrian..Adrian Powers. Sixth 'Ear Ravencla'". Adrian added with a grin as he shook her hand."So how 'ome I 'avent seen yeh round the 'astle, much?".Adrian asked.Another's night breeze had blew across the grounds. Causing Adrian to shiver, and rub his own arms. "If yeh don't mind, I'm 'onna head back in the Lake. 'Eel free teh join me..erm..if yeh have a 'athing suit on yeh". He added, with a sheepish smile. And with no hesitation whatsoever,Adrian dove into the lake, the warm water instantly soothed him. He surfaced from underwater and wiped his eyes free of any excess water.

Alex took note almost immediately of his Irish accent. It was a nice accent to possess, really, and she wished her British accent was so dang plain, sometimes. "Nice to meet you too, Adrian. You can call me Alex, by the way." Alexandra wasn't one for fancy name calling or for that matter, people using her full first name. Unless it was James, cause then it was just sexy. But back on topic. Ah, so she had guessed correctly. He was younger, but only by a year, and was in a different house. Hm, well at least she knew she wasn't just completely oblivious to him being around the commons all the time and such. She listened when he explained that he would be heading back into the lake. She nodded, confirming that she would join him.
Alexandra stood up from where she was sitting, pulling her wand from her pocket. She waved it over her body, muttering a spell that she wasn't sure if Adrian heard or not. Next thing she knew, she was in a red and gold bikini, lined with the word 'Gryffindor' and her clothes were in a neat pile next to her. A towel had appeared beneath them, and she was pretty much ready to swim. She jumped into the lake of her own accord, swimming over to where Adrian was. "Eh, the water isn't too chilly tonight." She commented, having remembered how warm of a day it was outside before the moon overcast.
