There were so many trophies. Shane's iPod blared out random music as loud as it could, one headphone placed lazily in his ear and the other being swung around in his hand in a circle. His dark brown eyes flickered over the first section of very old trophies, scowling at ones the Gryffindors had achieved and smiling appreciatively at the ones that Slytherin had won. Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff he didn't so much care about. Ravenclaw was for the nerds that never left the library, Hufflepuff was for the goody goody two shoes and Gryffindor was the house where everyone forgot their place in the school. Thankfully most Gryffindors left him alone and most of the other Houses did so as well. Even people in Slytherin sometimes. Shane was sort of lonely, but he would never let something as trivial as that get in the way of him.
He moved onto more recent trophies, the song switching on his iPod. Shane actually had no idea why he was in here, normally he would just hang around in the common room of something. Maybe his mind wanted more motivation to lead the Slytherin Quidditch Team to victory as he looked upon the Quidditch Cup Trophy that Harry Potter had won. Shane sighed softly, staring at it for a couple of moments before moving onto randomness that he didn't remotely care about. One thing was set in stone: Shane wouldn't let his House be disgraced anymore, and he would do everything in his power to make it more triumphant. He was so sick of every other House getting the glory when in truth Slytherin was very deserving. Even if it was full of slackers.

Aria was off in her own little world, humming a song from the Muggle World that she really enjoyed called Red Sam by Flyleaf. She opened the door to the Trophy Room, unaware of Shane in there. She sang quietly, "Here I stand, empty hands.." She continued on and soon saw Shane. She stopped, feeling her cheeks to redden. She quickly turned around and focused her attention to the trophies in the case.
She didn't know why she was in here, she just wanted to get away from the rest of the school, I guess you could say. But why not go to the Room of Requirements...she didn't want to deal with the hassle. She wore black shorts and a white tube top. Hey, it was pretty hot in the school sometimes. She pulled her long black hair over one shoulder as she looked at the name, "James Potter." She rolled her eyes, moving onto the next one. She continued to look at the trophies, quickly growing bored.
Aria walked over to the window and looked out. "Pitty, isn't it? We need a cup." [/size]

Jessica had been exploring the castle when she came to 'The Trophy Room' she wondered what it was like in their with all the trophies and awards she guessed were in the room. She noticed the door was open when she walked up to it and she walked in. First thing she heard was a girl she recognized as being the head girl of her House Slyherin Aria Marie Starr. She heard the girl say "Pitty, isn't it? We need a cup.".
"I agree we do need a cup, we should win it this year." "Hi i'm Jessica Abbot Zashterly i'm a first year student of the same house you are." She said with a smile introducing herself as she just then noticed the other boy in the room a prefect of their house. She turned to face him and walked over to were he was. "Hi I"m Jessica Abbot Zashterly if you didn't catch my saying it earlier, your a prefect of our house right? she asked smiling brightly at him.

Aria had been watching Shane, waiting for some kind of response. She turned when she heard Jessica. She hadn't known he was a prefect, hmm...maybe this could be interesting. She was in fact the Head Girl for Slytherin...
A sly grin appeared on her face as she drifted in thoughts.

Daniel the Caretaker at Hogwarts was walking along the 5th floor when he heard some noises and on closer inspection he found out it was some students in the 'Trophy Room'. He walked into the 'Trophy Room' his foot steps shaking the floors and slammed the door shut behind him making a very loud bang. Lifting up his lantern he waived it around the room shining light down upon the students who were in the room. "Just what do you think your doing in here at this time of night?" "Students are not allowed to be out of their dorm rooms at night, you know the the rules?" "Your lucky your all in house Slyherin or you would all be serving detention for a week with me." "I admit I was a big trouble maker in my day as a student here and I got into a fair share of trouble." he mentioned with a stern look on his face as he recalled his glorious days of pranks and trouble making at Hogwarts before he had been kicked out of the school. "I will go and not say anything about this to your professors, but I want you to clear out of here within 10 minutes of my leaving." he said pointing at the students with his big hands "Oh and Jessica you watch yourself I would hate my brother to get mad if you end up in trouble." he said as he left the 'Trophy Room' and quietly shut the door.

(I am completely sorry for taking so long to reply. Real life issues have been catching up with me unfortunately, and if this is too late of a response, do tell me. But is Shane actually a prefect? XD I never knew this, I'll roleplay as if I knew.)
There was a brief pause in his music as the songs switched, and Jimi Hendrix was blaring out all over the trophy room. He turned it down slightly, pausing to think of what the other students might think of him if he was caught listening to trippy guitar music as everyone was very much intimidated by him. And if he was caught listening to Muggle music? When he considered it, Muggles made better music than any wizard ever could and the thought did trouble him a bit. He wasn't a Muggle hater, or a Mudblood hater. He was just apprehensive of both types of people, though he would never date a Mudblood. Shane liked to think that he had higher class than anyone with filthy blood, and sometimes Shane avoided them as if they were contagious. It wasn't as if he was a bad person, it was just the way he was taught by his mother.
Thanks to Jimi Hendrix's experience, he didn't see a girl around his age walk into the room and stand by him. At first his eyes narrowed suspiciously and then he automatically regarded her robes. Slytherin. His dark brown eyes never left her as she walked onward, inspecting the trophies just as he had before. He wasn't sure of her name, though by looking at her robes she was in fact Head Girl. When she spoke, he finally switched his gaze elsewhere, not really considering her anymore. Girls in general were annoying, at least to him, and every single one of them seemed fake. All skinny, all beautiful. Not one girl he knew, besides his sister, were genuine. For now he was going to reserve his judgement on her, as she looked like a Quidditch player and that in itself made him respect her. Before he could reply another much younger girl entered the room. What was this? When all he wanted was privacy...
She was too cheerful of a Slytherin, and she had the appearance that she would do well in Hufflepuff. He turned off his iPod, a little hint of annoyance flashing across his face before it returned to it's natural, blank, emotionless expression. He nodded slightly when she asked the question, and said flatly, "Shane." His brown eyes darted quickly to the door, yet again. This time it was a teacher. He sighed slightly as the teacher started doing what, well, adults do best. Which was lecturing. He lazily leaned on the wall with his shoulder, his eyes occasionally darting to the Head Girl and Jessica before returning to the teacher. "Okay, sir." He spoke almost sarcastically, a slight smile crossing his face when the teacher he left. And he turned to the others. Awkward time. "So do either of you play?" This question was more directed to the Head Girl than Jessica, but he made eye contact with Jessica too.
